Must read

The U.S. Department of Defense presented the world with its newest bomber aircraft, the B-21 Raider on December 2nd, in Palmdale, California.

Intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), electronic attack (EA), communication, and other capabilities are just some of the roles that the B-21 Raider is expected to play as part of a larger family of systems for conventional long-range strike. It is designed for both manned and unmanned operations and is nuclear-capable. Furthermore, it can employ a wide range of weapons, both standoff and direct attack.

The Air Force’s B-21 will serve as the backbone of the United States’ bomber force, according to Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III.

The B-21 Raider is a dual-capable penetrating strike stealth bomber that can deliver both conventional and nuclear munitions. It will be able to support joint and coalition forces across the entire spectrum of operations, according to Austin, and is also flexible enough to adapt to an ever-changing threat environment.
