Israeli Strikes Kill in Lebanon, Gaza and Syria

Israeli airstrikes in northern Gaza, Syria, and Lebanon since late Saturday reportedly killed more than 80 people.

On Sunday, the National News Agency (NNA) reported that airstrikes were conducted in the central Lebanon town of Almat and according to the Health Ministry of Lebanon, 20 people, including three children, were killed in the incident.

Another town in southern Lebanon, Debaal, was the target of an air raid, and a strike on Mashghara in south-central Lebanon killed three people, according to the news agency.

An air strike in the town of Deir Qanoun resulted in the deaths of seventeen persons.

Five people were killed in an airstrike that occurred over the town of Hanawaih, and the towns of Majdal Zoun, Tair Harfa, al-Dhaira, and other locations were the target of artillery shelling.

There have been over a dozen separate attacks in Lebanon since late Saturday.

The Israeli military announced on Saturday that airstrikes had been conducted in the Baalbek and Tyre areas, as well as further north.

By Saturday night, the air force had “eliminated dozens of Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon over the past day,” according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Israeli airstrikes on two residences in northern Gaza killed at least 41 people early Sunday morning, according to the enclave’s director general of health.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) declared that they had struck “a terrorist infrastructure site in the vicinity of Jabalya.”

A Friday World Health Organization report on Gaza’s availability of food warned that famine is likely in the northern Gaza Strip, where many Israeli operations have concentrated.

Syrian state news agency SANA reported on Sunday that an Israeli airstrike targeting a residential building in the Sayyida Zainab area of the Damascus countryside resulted in the deaths of at least seven civilians and the injury of 20 others in Syria.

According to SANA, private properties were damaged, and women and children were among those killed.

Regarding the attack, the IDF has stayed silent.
