The foreign ministry of Japan announced on Saturday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy will be visiting the country for the Group of Seven (G7) Hiroshima summit on Sunday and holding a bilateral meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
According to the foreign ministry, Zelenskiy will join the other G7 leaders and invited outreach countries in a session focusing on peace and security.
The Ukrainian president is expected to conduct bilateral meetings with other G7 summit delegates upon his arrival in Hiroshima on Saturday.
