Israel Reportedly Attacks Iran

Must read

Israel attacked Iranian territory on Friday, according to sources, continuing a tit-for-tat between the two rivals that has the potential to escalate tensions in the region.

Iranian media reported explosions, while state media reported the shooting down of three drones over the central city of Isfahan.

Early on Friday, there was no word from the Israeli government or military. There is no immediate response from Iran to launch a counterattack.

The United States and other global powers exerted pressure on Israel not to respond or to guarantee the avoidance of any additional retaliation in an effort to prevent a more extensive flash of fire.

Israel allegedly carried out the airstrike on the Iranian embassy compound in Damascus on April 1 in response to Iran’s support for the Palestinian militant group Hamas, whose attack on Israel on October 7 sparked Israel’s invasion of Gaza.

In retaliation for Iran’s drone swarm assault on Israel on April 13, Israel launched an attack today.
