Mandate

The Finance and Audit Committee oversees Defense Domain’s financial integrity, compliance with applicable regulations, and responsible use of resources. Its mandate is to ensure transparency, sustainability, and sound financial governance across all institutional activities.

The Committee reviews budgets, financial reports, audit outcomes, and compliance with funding and reporting obligations. It provides assurance that financial practices align with the organization’s non-profit status and governance standards.

Reporting Lines

The Finance and Audit Committee reports directly to the Executive Board.

Findings, recommendations, and identified risks are presented to the Executive Board on a quarterly basis or as required. The Committee does not hold decision-making authority but provides formal oversight input to support executive decisions.
