Dr. Murat Caliskan is a Cyber Security Manager, defence researcher, and former Turkish Army staff officer with more than two decades of experience spanning defence, NATO, cybersecurity, and space systems. He holds a PhD in International Relations and Security from UCLouvain, where his research focused on hybrid warfare, defence planning and technologies and artificial intelligence in strategic decision-making.
He has published on hybrid warfare, military strategy, defence planning, international security, peace operations, and emerging defence technologies. His current work focuses on cyber resilience, information security governance, and cybersecurity for critical infrastructure, satellite communications, and space systems.
